Founded in 1955, the Maliyadeva College Astronomical Society is one of Sri Lanka’s oldest and most respected school-based astronomical societies. For over seven decades, we have fostered scientific thinking, leadership, and innovation among young minds. Through lectures, observation sessions, and national-level initiatives, we challenge students to question, to discover, and to lead. Rooted in tradition, driven by ambition, we continue to shape the next generation of scientific pioneers.
